The two Los Angeles clubs clash in one of this weekend’s top MLS matches on Saturday, with the Galaxy set as the betting favorites at the sportsbooks for the game.

Los Angeles FC has never lost as it has gone 2-0 through the first two games of its franchise’s existence. The club would love to continue its winning ways and win the first game of what figures to be a long-time rivalry with the cross-town Los Angeles Galaxy.

Los Angeles FC is a +260 road underdog in Carson at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Galaxy are going off at -105 to win on their home pitch with odds to draw paying +270. As LAFC awaits the completion of its stadium in downtown Los Angeles, the team is set to play its first six games of the year on the road. That hasn’t been an issue for the expansion club thus far as they upset Seattle 1-0 and Salt Lake 5-1 in their first two games.

After finishing last season at the bottom of the table with 18 losses and a record of 8-18-8, the Galaxy are hoping to quickly rebound into postseason contention and prevent their new cross-town rival from gaining traction in the city. The Galaxy made a big splash last week with the signing of international superstar Zlaten Ibrahimovic. The Swedish star trained with the team Friday and could make his MLS debut against Los Angeles FC on Saturday.

The two clubs that met in last year’s MLS Cup are still in search of their first points in the 2018 season. Toronto FC and the Seattle Sounders are both off to 0-2-0 starts this year and neither has recorded a goal through their first two games. The clubs will try to turn things around as home favorites this Saturday as Toronto FC (-205) hosts Real Salt Lake (+575 to win, +335 to draw) and Seattle (-155) takes on the Montreal Impact (+400 to win, +290 to draw). Toronto FC is the +450 favorite on the 2018 MLS Cup odds.

Atlanta United has bounced back from a 4-0 road loss to the Houston Dynamo in their opening game to crush D.C. United 3-1 and Vancouver 4-1 in their last two games at home. On Saturday, Atlanta will try to carry this momentum on the road to win away from its excellent home crowd as +105 favorites visiting Minnesota United (+235 to win, +260 to draw).
